Progress Update - December 18, 2025

Winter arrived early this year, freezing the dirt and temporarily pausing construction on the Johnson Park Trail. While trail work is on hold, momentum hasn’t slowed for WMMBA. We continue to make strong progress on fundraising in partnership with the Kent County Parks Foundation.

Thanks to a successful Giving Tuesday push, we’re closing in on the halfway mark of our $100,000 fundraising goal. We’re already dreaming of warmer temperatures and getting back out for trail work days as soon as conditions allow.
